Model 64

The Model 64 was introduced to the Smith & Wesson line September 1, 1970. It is a stainless steel version of the Model 10 .38 Military & Police. The Model 64 began with serial number D244,001. The Boston Police ordered both 3 inch and 4 inch versions of the Model 64. The stainless steel revolvers were marked on the left side of the frame with the BPD property markings.

The 4 inch revolver was shipped on August 14, 1981.

The 3 inch revolvers below were all shipped in the same order of 154 units to the Boston Police Department on October 29, 1981.
